E30 Instrument Cluster Lights

E30 Instrument Cluster Lights. I had a problem with the instrument cluster lights. The 1.2w small ones are 286 type, and i think the larger ones are 505.

Ive always noticed that the warning lights in the instrument cluster would stay on until you hit the throttle. The battery was flat and someone gave me a jump start. Hi all i have a similar problem with my e30.

A speedometer, fuel guage and coolant temperature gauge were standard across the range, while all m20 models received a tachometer (rev counter) and econometer as standard. I thought it may be a fuse but there doesn't seem to be one for the internal lights.
